In spring 2021, DASA Assessment presented the fall 2020 First Term Survey results to students, faculty and staff across campus through web content and unit-level presentations. Results will be used to inform decisions designed to improve student experiences at NC State.
DASA Assessment is pleased to invite DASA faculty and staff to register for spring workshops in the spring 2021 Assessment Workshop Series. These professional development opportunities provide participants with a strong foundation in assessment methods
The DASA Assessment website Resources page offers “theory sheets” summarizing major bodies of literature and associated measures for selected student success topics. Each theory sheet provides a list of research articles and seminal papers on the relevant topic.
As DASA Assessment prepares to assess first-year and senior students in written communication in 2020-2021, we would like to highlight ways that faculty have partnered with our office in the past to collect data on students’ General Education Competencies (also known as “Pack Proficiencies”).
Creating community at NC State matters. Through the Retention Foundations Assessment (RFA) process, units in the Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA) used division-wide data to make small changes in an effort to improve students’ sense of community.
